About THZ

Welcome to The Hedgehog Zone Podcast website! The podcast started back in October of 2020. I started podcasting late 2019 and after seeing post after post on various Sonic Facebook groups, a question came to mind. “Why don’t I start a Sonic the Hedgehog Podcast?”.

A quick story, I became a fan of our blue blur, after playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle for the GameCube. I soon found out about the amazing Sonic community after checking out websites to find more information on the different types of Chao. I would go on to create message boards on Sonic, until one of them became my popular board, Blue Hedgehog Messageboards (which are still up on the internet!). The board was active from 2006-2012 and after so many years of me not being involved in the community, it was time to return, with a podcast this time.

A couple of months into the podcast being around, I decided to also have a live show component to it on our social media (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube). I’d done live shows throughout 2020 on my other podcasts so I thought why not also have it on THZ?

Months later, we’ve had so many amazing guests from the Sonic community, and some have even joined the THZ team! If you’d like to watch a live show, check us out on our social media links below.
